Throughout Andrew’s finance career, valuing his client relationships has seen him work with some of them for over 20 years. This long term respect, along with his strong background in corporate & institutional, SME and property finance, has built Andrew a reputation for delivering insightful advice and strategic funding solutions that enable his clients.
Prior to founding Pearl Capital Advisory, Andrew held senior leadership roles at NAB, including Head of the Emerging Corporate business, where he led a high-performing team, working with high growth clients, as well as those that have a degree of complexity to their capital requirements. Responsible for billions in lending and deposits, Andrew’s leadership and client focus earned his team high recognition within NAB.

Throughout his career, Andrew has become known for his deep care for clients, standing by them not only in good times, but also during some of the toughest periods in recent history. Examples of his support include arranging a $110 million debt refinance package for a multinational listed company when their foreign bank exited the Australian market during the Global Financial Crisis.
During the pandemic lockdowns, Andrew supported the opening of three greenfield accommodation hotels for a number of large private family groups, securing over $250 million in combined construction and term-out funding despite hospitality sector closures. He also backed a construction hire business through a transformational, $30 million acquisition amid the construction industry’s significant pandemic challenges.
